New Whalom Breeze (Monthly Publication)

Keeping People Informed







We plan on creating and publishing a special newsletter for residents of North Central Massachusetts, called 'The New Whalom Breeze'.





A monthly printed newsletter, (similar to the original Whalom Breeze , distributed to the residents of Fitchburg in the 1920's) consisting of news of coming meetings and development plans, etc., would be extremely helpful in keeping people informed and generating new and ongoing interest.

Each issue of this newsletter could also contain 1 or 2 reminiscences from people who frequented Whalom Park, a feature story or interview, and special promotional items for purchase. Again, this would increase people's interest in the newsletter, and in the project itself.



The newsletter should be free. It could be paid for through advertisements in the newsletter itself; and distributed through local businesses and sponsors who are eager to see this project succeed. Special discount coupons can be offered by local merchants just for mentioning New Whalom Park when they order.
